Rev. Jonathan A. Ytterock

Pastor

Jonathan became the minister of Mt. Horeb Presbyterian Church in 2014.

Jonathan grew up in the Detroit-metro area of Michigan and loves his hometown dearly. He moved across the state, near to the cool splendor of Lake Michigan, to attend Hope College and then Western Theological Seminary where he earned his Masters of Divinity (M.Div).

While attending Hope College, Jonathan met his wife Annie — a Colorado native! They live in Grottoes with their daughter Lila and their dog, Jazz. Together they enjoy cooking, reading, movies, music of all sorts, and really delicious coffee.

Lindsay Pace

Director of Music

Lindsay Pace joined the staff as choir director in August of 2010.

Lindsay grew up in Augusta County and received her Bachelor of Music degree in elementary education from Bridgewater College. Lindsay currently teaches 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade music at Nathanael Greene Elementary School in Stanardsville.

Lindsay participated in all the musical groups in her church as a youth, and developed a clear understanding of the role music plays in our faith and worship.

Al Adam

Custodian

Al Adam and his family became a part of the Mt. Horeb family in 1986 and have been engaged in the church's ministries in a variety of ways.

Al joined the staff as Custodian on a temporary basis in 2010 when the church was without someone in the position. Since then he has become a regular member of the staff.

Al and Pam have three grown children, two of which still live in the area. Al is committed to keeping the church facility pristine.  He is also very interested in Model Railroading.
